I figured out why PP CS4 is unstable at start-up. I thought it had stopped doing this but in my Stero Effects folder are about 7 music VSTs listed. PP will start up sometimes and shut down at other times . It's about 50-50. So, I was reading about a way to block VSTs from loading using the ''black list text''. It wasn't very clear to me. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to go about this?
Blacklist text procedure for Dummies...I couldn't get the ''blacklist.txt'' thing to work so I just move the offending VSTs to a folder on my desktop while I'm in PP.
