how do you get rid of the white...

have made graphics in paint, and i saved them under png.Now when i import them into flash CS4 the white backgrounds are solid?

Try removing the white background with photoshop. Post the png if you don楹搕 know how to do this or don楹搕 have photoshop.

I am making a game and have quite alot of graphics all done in paint

I am not familiar with Paint. Does it allow you to create transparent backgrounds?

Well when you are finished drawing a picture when you select it you are able to make the drawings background transparent so when you put it on top of something else the background doesnt show up or you can have the background visible.
