As far as I know, the Raw file after editing in CR should be saved as TIFF, opened in PS to continue editing and saved as JPG for printing at the end.
However in Photo Shop, JPG file option is not available in the Save window drop down list.?What should I do? Again, this question is about raw files saved as TIFF in Camera raw.
Workflow to printForget JPG 閳?it is a lossy format and not reqired for printing anyway.
Out of interest, JPEG will not be available in the Save dialog if the file is 16-bit or layered.
You probably have 16-bit specified in the output parameters at the bottom of the ACR window.
(If someone is asking for a JPEG, save a copy, flatten, convert to 8-bit, and save as a JPG.)
Workflow to printHi John,
I just read 2 books and one of them is ''Light and lighting''. It recommends
and explains why this kind of conversions should be done. But off cause not
only JPG. Which one you would recommend-EPS?
Thank you very much

If you are using a desktop inket printer TIFF or PSD will be fine.
If it is a print shop ask them how they like the files.
There should be no need for JPEG or EPS unless specifically asked for.

What file you are using? Do you use online service or local lab?

Hi Oleg,
I send TIFF files to pro commercial labs online for large prints, and I print up to 13'' (33 cm) x 44'' (112 cm) on my own inkjet printer.
Thank you
